Valleys
There
are two valleys, Wied Ghomor and Wied il-Kbir. These
valleys are built with the rubble wall, which is a
symbolic characteristic for the rural areas. Few of
these walls are passageways among the fields.
In
Swieqi there are 3 main gardens, one in Swieqi Road
named after the author Francis X. Ebejer, one in Triq
il-Hemel named after St. Andrews and one in Triq il-Barmil
named Victoria Gardens.
In
2000 Ibrag and Madliena became hamlets. Swieqi day
is celebrated on the 30th November annually.
